"sorry i dont know what hes doing," obelix said. fang looked up as he heard the howl. "what was that?" obelix asked.

"ok," obelix said turning his back. fang stood up and walked to the other side of obelix. "what are you doing fang?" obelix asked as fang pushed him over towards zaira.

"sounds like he would be protective of you then," obelix said. as he ran his hands through fangs fur his hand brushed over zaira's. "oops sorry," he said and turned his face away from her as he felt his cheeks grow red.

"yeah," obelix said sitting down next to her. "i found him when he was just a pup, his mother had been killed by a hunter." obelix said as fang lay down between them. "you can pet him if you like," he said scratching behind fangs ears.

obelix walked out of the water and sat next to zaira. he picked a leaf off a nearby tree and split the middle of it. obelix pressed the leaf to his lipsand blew, the air rang with a clear whistle that could be heard for miles. a wolf came bounding out of the forest and tackled into obelix and licked his face. "down fang," obelix laughed stroking fangs soft fur.

"woah," obelix said as he fell in the river. as he fell he turned around and grabbed zaira's hand and pulled her in with him. "why did you do that?" He laughed.

obelix ran after her and almost ran into her when she stopped. "wow thats cool," obelix said. he looked up at the water fall and walked over and stuck his hand into it.

"ok, sounds nice," obelix said. as they neared the river the sound of moving water became louder. "sounds like were getting close," obelix said.

obelix followed her. "where are we going, seeing as i have nothing else to do im going with," obelix said.

obelix followed zaira down to the forest floor. we he was low enough he jumped to the ground and waited for zaira.

obelix sang along with zaira keeping up with her and complementing her voice with his own. when the song was finished he look at zaira smiling. "that sounded great," he said his hand resting on the branch next to hers.

"what if i sang with you?" obelix asked. he sat up and edged over as close as he could get without it being awkward. "im not the best but if you think it would work im all for it," obelix said.

"don't be embarrassed, you have a wonderful singing voice," obelix said. he leaned back against the trees trunk and closed his eyes. "why don't you keep singing, i liked it." he said.
